Endre Blaq, a native of Tampa Florida and a Navy veteran, has been performing music since he was 10 years old in the AME church, local gospel choirs and at events. He was groomed by his father, the late Alfred Dixon, to perform and perfect his craft, performing on stages in various competitions, and auditioning for national television shows. During Endre’s time in the military, he traveled the world performing gospel music at local church events, and was part of the gospel group, Anointed Voices of Power, under the direction of the late Jimmy Hill, Sr. During his time with Anointed Voices of Power, he recorded background vocals for recording artists Donavon Frankenreiter and Bruce V. Allen. Endre has also worked with Jevon Hill, who is now producing hits for celebrity singers such as Fantasia, Dave Hollister and many others.
In 2009, Endre fell in love with the sound of Neo-soul music and has been creating Neo-soul/soul music ever since. He attributes his love of this style of music to Robert Glasper, The Foreign Exchange and Eric Roberson just to name a few.
Over the years, Endre has collaborated with local artists, writing and producing several unreleased songs until the debut of singles "Alright Now" (May 2018) and "Seasons" (November 2018) performed by K Delore. Endre is just getting started as an independent artist and producer with the release of his EP, I Crave you in August 2018 and My Black Skin in October 2020.
