It was always a pleasure when you pulled up at grandmas. I always spoke so lovingly of my big cousin. The smoothness in your voice, the style in the leather bomber u once came to visit in and your Eldorado Cadillac. Though you were grown and I was a child I admired the type of man you were and how you presented self. I always said I’m going to be as cool as cousin Bruce when I grow up. Even talking to you as a grown up I still loved the convos. I learned so much as a man from you. I thought this year I would be able to pull up to you. Riding and dressed as you would be when you came to visit cool, in Bruce fashion literally and figuratively. But our window in life closed but thank you for all your advise, your words of comfort, for a lil kid who thought you were one of the coolest men on the planet. I love you, and you will always be carried by me daily. |

To my Dear Uncle Bruce, |
My deepest condolences to the love ones of Bruce. I feel blessed to have known him and spent time with him & his beautiful family, which I feel very close too.
He was a beautiful person and he will truly be missed. I always admired his dedicated service to his country , and I am truly grateful and thankful for his service. Jackie , Darnel, & Deborah know that I love You very much and I am saddened by his passing but I know he is with his father in heaven which brings joy to my heart!!
Although I am not with You physically, I am with you spiritually. You are in my prayers & thoughts.
God Bless,
Love U,
Derrielle Smith, friend
